YEDU stands for Youth Education Project. Youth participation in non-formal education activities develops skills, competences and attitudes that can lead to improved opportunities in the future. The aim of our actions is to improve the quality of youth work in Europe and Africa.

YEDU is an initiative of an international consortium of non-governmental organisations that work with young people in four different fields: education, culture, sport and IT. This combination give us valuable insight into the nature of youth participation and allows us to develop an online course that covers a wide spectrum of topics related to youth work. Each organisation appointed one member of a coordinating team but there are many more people working to make YEDU possible.

YEDU seeks to offer tools which improve quality of youth work on two levels. On one hand, the online course help professional youth workers, local community leaders and volunteers learn more about crucial aspects of youth work. On the other hand, the mobile app with the access to wiki area is a useful tool to communicate and share content with team members an, therefore, to enhance your team performance efficiency.

The development of YEDU is possible thanks to two grants received from ERASMUS+ Programme. The core of the MOOC was developed within the CultNet project (Agreement number 2016-1762 /001-001) and Module 4 as well as mobile app is being developed within the Sustainable Youth Work project (Agreement number 2018-2607/001-001).
