====== YEDU online course for youth workers ====== **The course is intended for those who work with young people in the field of culture, sport, technology and education who want to consolidate their knowledge about supporting youth initiatives. Four modules contain video materials recorded in Poland, Italy, Spain, Burkina Faso and Ghana which allow you to look at issues related to the active participation of young people in the life of their communities from many different perspectives.** {{wiki:mooc_page.png?nolink }} ===== OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE ===== {{wiki:diagram_areas_1.png?nolink&400 }}In the first module, you will focus on active participation of young people. You will understand who young people are, what motivates them to join voluntary activities and how to evaluate them as well as how to provide feedback effectively. The second module deals with the problem of social exclusion and how the involvement of young people in social activity can be the key to solving it. You will analyze the reasons for exclusion, the needs of young people and the ways to deal with conflicts in the group. The third module is a series of practical tips for youth workers who use the project method in their everyday work. You will analyze the process of preparing a project from an idea to the implementation. The last module focuses on the sustainability of youth initiatives and how to grow entrepreneurial mindset in your team. ===== Start dates ===== The course is going to start on 1st August 2019 at 9:00 CET. ===== EDUCATORS ===== The course curriculum was prepared by Jan Brożyński (Association CZ-ART), Silvia Anastasia (USMA) and Anna Schena (Glocal Factory).
